Rufous Hornero's Nest

This is an old picture I took in 2012, here in The Park of the City. I am blipping it today just to illustate what I said yesterday about Rufus Hornero's skills to build nests. He never builds the entrance to the side where wind commonly blows. It is so sofisticated that he included a perch in the entrance. The picture was taken late in the afternoon of an autumn day, so lighting was very special.
