Approach to St Bernard's Well

Blip 730 is of one of my favourite views on my lunchtime walks.

There has been some snow melt since yesterday. Hopefully there will be a little more, and that it will dry, so that the February Spokes Ride will go ahead on Sunday.

There is no doubt that snow makes for magical photographs, especially if it is sunny. A bit difficult shooting in to the sunlight with a compact camera, but it came out quite well as I step the exposure down a couple of stops. Enough to stop the sunlight burning out the image and still retaining detail in shadows.
