Birds in a heap!!

We arrived home today to find that our babies have grown considerably in the past few days. The collection of open mouths from last Thursday is now a heap of little bodies with feathers and wings that they flap about, much to the annoyance of their neighbour.

There isn't enough room for them all to be sided by side, so the occasional one rises to the top of the pile for a minute or two, only to be dislodged when Mum or Dad comes in to feed, do toileting duties or a general tidy up. Or as on this occasion, one get stuck at the bottom!!

We had 6 last week, but there appears to be only 5 today :0(

I hadn't planned to blip them until later in the week, but the fluttering of wings may indicate that they are older than I thought!! There will be an empty box one morning and that will be it for another year!!
