Long Road Home

This time of year, we often see Bald Eagles in the Farmington Bay area as they migrate north.  Some years, they are everywhere you look.  Corbin and I went out early this morning before church in hopes of seeing that majestic bird.  While we did see three, they were in the distance and being limited to 105mm the picture I got was not very inspiring.

Even without good pictures of the Eagles, the trip was highly successful.  Anytime I can go on a good long walk with my son and talk, I'm a happy man.  As we walked on this cold February morning, the sun started to peak over the mountain and I couldn't help but stop and take this picture.
