CRAB
A day of grandparenting in the morning and catching up with garden tasks in the afternoon and evening. Suddenly everything needs hardening off and planting out. Overdid it a bit and am aching more than after the long walks. Worse still, I lost my focus and forgot to blip until 9 pm, when I captured this hasty image of the crab apple blossom in the low evening light. This is a dwarf variety, which hangs low over a mixed border. Right now it looks like a fall of snow.
THREE THINGS TO BE GRATEFUL FOR:
Wonderful May weather
That the deck only needs power washing once a year
That the potatoes have recovered from the frosting.
