Bridge over the Afon Lwyd (Grey River)
After I'd dropped off my grandchildren, Isla and Griff, to school in Griffithstown this morning, I decided to go for a walk along the Mon and Brecon Canal at Pontymoile.
I've come to the decision that I need to become fitter, by walking as much as I can, as I'm sure my arthritic knee would benefit from such exercise.
My blip is of the weir and fish leap on the Afon Lwyd at Pontymoile and the bridge over it carries the Mon and Brecon Canal. The river is 13 miles in length, its source being in Blaenavon and it flows into the river Usk at Caerleon.
