Clarity.....

......is everything where air pollution is concerned. The best indicator of air quality appears to be Lichen. This small Beech in our garden is kept trimmed so it will never exceed our allotted space. On the trunk there are at least six varieties of Lichen, the air coming in off the SW approaches hasn't been contaminated since it left Nova Scotia. The rest is up to us.
