Crocuses

The forecast was for sunny weather so I planned to go out and get some landscape shots today, but it was so cold that I decided against it. This cold weather is not inspiring me to get out there, so there may be many indoor shots this week! The sunshine only lasted a short time and then it disappeared behind thick cloud, so I only managed to get some more shots of crocuses (or croci) that had already opened.

The four surviving original copies of the 1215 Magna Carta have been brought together for the first time in London, in honour of its 800th anniversary. More than 40,000 people entered a public ballot to see them, with 1,125 getting the chance to see all four at the British Library over three days. I was lucky to see the two copies owned by the British Library a couple of years ago. The other two have been brought to the British Library for the anniversary from Lincoln and Salisbury Cathedrals.
