Remember When

you went to the pictures and there was an Intermission half way through? If you go to see a film at Haslemere Hall this still happens! The interior is in good period condition, with a bar selling nibbles and drinks, both alcoholic and non, at halftime. Bluebellsea and I went there to see Skyfall when it first came out, knowing nothing of this quaint habit and were truly discombobulated when they stopped this fast paced film half way through.
This arrangement works well when there is live streaming of theatre and opera, but not for a film.
