Travel Advice Needed from the Sheffield Contingent

Help! I've got an appointment at the Royal Hallamshire hospital on Thursday morning at 8.30am. I live 50 miles away so getting there on time is going to be challenging.

The advice is to use public transport as parking is limited around the hospitals, even though is a multi storey opposite the hospital entrance.

If I go by train I'd have to catch the 5.45 which gets in at 7.00 giving me 90 minutes to travel the two miles to the hospital. The next train, 6.45, gets in at 8.00 giving me only 30 minutes.

Our thoughts are to drive in and use the park and ride at Tesco/Abbeydale. It would mean an early start of course but the buses are very frequent.

Is this the best option? Or would we find space in the multi storey at that time in the morning?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
