The past is always with us

The stone lych gate to St Peter's was built to honour the fallen in the 1st world war, and the gravestones were cleared from the graveyard to make paths to and around the church. But the graves are still where they always were, so a little sign asks respectfully for people to not walk across the grass areas.
Meanwhile just outside the church boundary we all hurry along getting on with out busy day
