City Walk

Had a text from friend Miriam suggesting we meet up for dinner tonight. Being the free birds we are, we said "Yes!" As the weather is so pleasant, we decided to dine alfresco, and chose this recently opened venue - City Walk - which is located very near Burj Khalifa.

A very pleasant evening though it did get cooler as the evening went on. Miriam was even subjected to holiday photos from Christmas and the more recent Oman trip! :)  She's a good sport.

City Walk is an unusual development built to resemble High Street shopping meaning shoppers are exposed to the elements. All very nice at the moment with the beautiful weather, but impossible during the long summer months. Restaurants are definitely the big business though with a large variety to choose from. And you should see the pink flamingos they have - made with rope lights. Very cool. :D
