This old hedgehog went rolling home at dawn

This morning is best forgotten. We had three members of staff: twelve children, of whom three have special or additional needs, and one who'd been poorly and was playing up, so needed close observation. The heating was playing up, too, so we had to spend most of the time moving around, while wearing multiple layers. Three major new changes were implemented, while one member of staff has left, and it was our first day without her. Readers, we survived!

In the afternoon, I went to teach aromatherapy/massage at the rehab, which was a breeze by comparison. Then I came home, made some rose face creams, and collapsed for a couple of hours.

Now we have a coal fire, some Gaelic singing on the TV, and a lovely jigsaw I haven't touched yet, because of the emails and texts....
