Crossing
The ride in this morning was chilly but dry, nothing as hazardous as Fridays. I cross this railway track daily. It is part of the Nene Valley Railway (NVR) . The NVR runs between Peterborough and the Yarwell junction - 7 miles. There has been a railway in Peterborough since 1845. This line remained in public use until 1972 when it was closed. It reopened in 1977 and has grown in popularity and become a local visitor attraction. Thus ends the brief history session
As you can tell not much happened today. But great news Pam is home and being cared for by St M. Oh also it is snowing. I call it a blizzard, Mr PB calls it a dusting - I am just hoping for a snow day!!!!
