In service day

It was a misty Edinburgh at 6:40 this morning. Thankfully the sun decided that having shown face recently in Scotland that we are not all that bad.

Sunshine on Leith has been rattling round my head for the last few days, obviously enough, in fact what with yesterday's catch up and a variety of other circumstances, things from the past have come to the fore.

We have noticed that a couple of trees near our house whcih I have known all my life are diseased/dead. Sad obviously but one advantage is that it means more light due to fewer leaves.
