Forbury Gardens, Reading.

An early Blip today as this afternoon I am off to Brighton and will be working until the early hours of tomorrow morning. We had a very little bit of snow here today so as I was in town this morning I took the opportunity to take a few pictures. This shows the famous Maiwand Lion statue which was put up in 1886 to commemorate soldiers who died in the battle of Maiwand in Afghanistan in 1880.
