Views of my world

Sunshine

Wall to wall sunshine today for a change. I believe they call it "summer"?!?

Productive day at work, no distractions, got lots done. Left in good time at 10 past 5 then realised I had left my camera and macbook behind so I had to go back for them.

I couldn't face heading for Paisley again slap bang in the middle of rush hour so I turned left to get out of Barrhead and headed for the coast. I followed my map app and ended up crossing the Fairlie moor to get me to Largs - a single track road with sheep & lambs all over the place, but what a view!!

I was stunned and surprised and not a little amazed by the glorious vision in front of me, reckon I could see Kintyre, Arran, Holy Island, both Cumbraes, Bute and various bits of Argyle, although they may not all be evident in this photo. It was a great treat.

I felt very relaxed when I got home, maybe I should take the scenic route more often, although it was longer than my usual boring route.

Had a lovely cup of tea on the front step with Freya as we watched the sun go down over Strone. Perfect end to a pretty good Monday.
