New Year is coming

With Chinese new year approaching, the shops are suddenly full of red and gold merchandise. I bought us something to hang on the door today. I have no idea what it says, Jenny has taken a photo and is going to ask her class to translate it. It's almost a shame that we are going to be out of the country for New Year. Although I understand it will be so busy in Beijing that a lot of people don't go out of the house so maybe it is for the best!
