Take Off

I set out with good intentions of doing 3 or 4 laps of Westport Lake this morning which is my normal Tuesday walk.  

I only managed 2 and it took twice as long to walk them, this was because I spent quite some time watching the wildlife slipping and sliding on the ice and watching a Swan icebreaking a path of clear water for others to follow.  

I had popped my little Canon camera in my pocket as usual, it’s great for all kinds of images but not really for capturing wildlife. So before starting the second lap I popped back to the car to get my other camera, on this lap I was just in time to capture the Swan’s taking off.
