Everything went white!

We woke up this morning to a light dusting of snow! Enough to get everyone a little excited. Cars driving at 2 mile an hour, in case they skid and lots of very excited children at school today!
It was a first for L this morning as I called up to hubby that it had snowed and the next thing I knew L was up, dressed and asking to go outside. All before 7.30! Completely unheard of on a school day.

I took my snowy blip today on the way to work, there is a lay-by on the top of a small hill that has a very good view looking towards Sleight village and beyond. Its a good job I stopped this morning as it had all disappeared by home time.

I also ventured out for a little run. The first for a couple of weeks since catching the lurgy. It went OK, a little chilly and slippy underfoot in places along the towpath but great to be back outside. Plus the canal was still a little frozen in places which looked cool! ( pun intended!!)
