Maraetai Pier (2014.351)

The last day of dreary weather in New Zealand. This pier stretches far enough out to be able to jump off, which lots of the kids (large and small) like to do.

Waiheke Island is just over 5km across the water, but beyond visual range today. It didn't much matter to us though. Emma had fallen ill and wasn't up for very much at all. And by the time she felt better, so did the sun.
