Make Up

We spent the day in the house, waiting for a couple of engineers to come and fix my tumble drier. They were due between 9 and 1, and of course they came close to 1pm. So it was a day of play doh, drawing and television!

I had my first proper night out tonight since having O. I met up with my friend J in town and we went for tapas with a bottle of wine and then a few drinks at a bar we used to frequent in our youth. Changed days though as we headed for our respective last trains home instead of on to the Sub Club like the olden days! Dinner and the company were both first class, and we have promised to make the effort to meet up once a month.

I don't often wear make up so H was very interested in my case tonight when I was getting ready. And she very much liked my silver sequin high heeled shoes, but I think she's a couple of years off wearing them for dress up - I don't fancy any more trips to A&E this year!
