It was quite bright this morning and then it snowed quite heavily for a few hours this afternoon. I decided that if it was still snowing at 4 o'clock I would have to cancel Brownies but luckily it stopped so we went ahead as usual.
We were thinking about birds and made a really cute peg and egg that when you pushed the peg together the egg separated so you could see the chick inside. They were all completely different and we even had a dinosaur in one. (there's always one ;) ).
We went on to make bird food, just squishing lard and seeds together but it was fun and messy !
The time went really quickly and we did nt have time to make a bird hide and play a game I had planned so we will carry on next week.
