ALISON STEADMAN

It's not often I'm tongue-tied due to star-struckness.
But tonight..
Alison Steadman was at a screening of one of her earliest TV dramas, 'Early to Bed' by Alan Bleasdale.(1975), which was shown as part of the BFI's Forgotten TV Drama series.
A panel discussion followed,  in which Alison took part along with Les Blair, Tara Prem & Peter Ansorge.
I steeled myself and asked if I could take a picture.
Alison was so charming and obliging  and said it was fine for me to use the picture on my blog.
My response was embarrassingly sheepish and lacking in originality.

Besides, she must already know she's brilliant.
