Birthday Narcissi.

These narcissi were a birthday present for Mrs TD way back in October; since then they have received much T.L.C. during our upheavals and can now see the light of day. I was required to blip them so that we can send a picture to the donor as a token of appreciation.

I had cause to visit the bank today and waited patiently as an elderly gentleman explained his requirements to the cashier, he seemed to have a very good grasp of the business in hand but his wife kept interrupting, telling him to remember to do this, asking if he'd forgotten that and reminding him about the other thing. As they left, she turned to the teller and profusely thanked her for her patience before reminding the old follow that he had to go to LIDLs over the road. I really thought that she should be thanking himself for his patience.

Speaking of LIDLs, I received an email from them today offering thoughtful gifts for Valentine's day, they included: a battery operated screwdriver, ditto a toothbrush and a vacuum cleaner, I'd be hung drawn and quartered for giving Herself such thoughtful tokens of love!
