Summer Colours
OMG, what a day its been.....gale force winds from the nor-west, and hot, hot and more hot. Hot drying winds is the last thing South Canterbury need when we are already in the grips of a drought. Further north there are three very serious fires which have engulfed houses, caused by a power pole being blown over. Terrible.
We got our winter wood delivered this morning, 6 cubic metres. It took us all morning to get that stacked and nicely undercover.
Zapped down to "my beach" to grab a blip, the colours were so vibrant, you can see the effects of coastal erosion.
Committee meeting tonight, must get dinner organised now.
