Glasgow on a Dull Day
I had a cheap rail ticket pre-booked so despite the rain went to Glasgow anyway. This view from the Lighthouse Gallery top floor (couple of blocks east from Central station), was taken through the large viewing windows using a tripod, remote release and HDR setting (so the camera takes two images, one exposed for darker, one for brighter and merges them). I also used the Vivid setting to give colours a Velvia transparency-like lift. The day wasn't wasted as I also got a few B&W images making use of the wet roads and pavements. Wet days are a challenge, not the least of which is to keep your gear from being ruined! Lighthouse also does good soup btw!
