DUSKY MOORHEN...

... a very full day in the garden as it has been cool and over cast here, and then quickly down to my private wetlands to check for a Blip and now off to a Prostate Support group Board meeting so may not catch up on your journals till tomorrow sorry.

Found this little guy all by himself on a branch in the wetlands and nothing much else around. Have been trying to get a half decent shot of one of these for awhile so the over cast afternoon helped! Also got a nice shot of a cana lily which will put on Flickr tomorrow.

Really appreciate all the wonderful comment and hearts etc on the MM blip of the "spirit". In particular was delighted to get one of the given hearts from JoanneinOz our MM convener for this month thanks Jo, a delight to be chosen.
