Three in one

Today was a funny day of reminiscing as I travelled through to Stirling University to have an initial meeting with the first year student I will be mentoring under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland Foundation programme.

The last time I was there was when I was in the Bridge of Allan Operatic Society's production of Camelot, as a fresh faced 16 year old, longer ago than I care to mention.

I stopped off on the way back to Edinburgh at the vantage point just before South Queensferry - primarily to check with Sam what I should get for dinner - but took advantage of stopping to grab this shot of all three Forth Bridges - the towers for the new bridge really standing out now as progress towards next year's completion approaches.

One of our close friends works for the construction project and it was very spooky as, as I was wondering if he was likely to be in the vicinity, one of his favourite songs of all time (ace of base - all threat she wants) came on the radio ...
