Focus of Old Teachings
Years ago an instructor in hand-to-hand combat and ground fighting spent quite some time teaching the vulnerabilities of an opponent. The head and neck seem to be exceptionally susceptible to injury and incapacitating potential.
Thorax, carotid artery, base of the ear, spine...
The clavicle is one of the more painful breaks and presents itself as an easy target. And the nerve running through the hollow just above the bone can also be used to subdue.
To this day (although I hope my most significant need for combat techniques knowledge is far behind me) I am still intrigued and maintain an interest in exploration.
