A splendid new entrance!

This striking wooden building is brand new, and is at the entrance to Sierra Helada Nature Park.....it is at the beginning of the footpath up to the Albir Lighthouse.

Since the Lighthouse itself was restored, and opened to the public, The Walk To The Lighthouse....about 3 km...... has become remarkably more popular. A car park has been created, and landscaped, and toilets have been built. It is intended that that there will be public information about the geology of the Park, the flora and fauna available, in several languages, available at the new Entrance.

I think everyone is very pleased with the improvements that are being made in the Village.
