Water Coconut Village

Five of us arranged a guided tour of the local Water Coconut Village, Cẩm Thanh. We cycled from our homestay and then got in basket boats and attempted some fishing. We only caught two tiny fish including a puffer fish. We used one as bait for crab fishing through the famous water coconut jungle.

Our boat guide was a bit of a joker and although he didn't speak a word of English, he kept us entertained by singing and spinning the boat around really fast. Afterwards we got a cooking lesson and ate a delicious lunch in a family home.
