Knott pine

The days are getting longer, but even so, to see the sun go down I had to escape from work early.  This is the view into Morecambe Bay from the top of Arnside Knott across the nose of Humphrey Head.  The sun was still hidden by cloud but for its searing reflection off the mudflats of the Bay.  There followed the first sunset in the Bay that I have seen in a month, the low light picking out the huge number of wind turbines out at sea off Walney.
