Gibson Mill, Hardcastle Crags

Wednesday is Ladies Walking Day - and today was a perfect day for a walk through Hardcastle Crags to Gibson Mill.
Unfortunately the cafe is closed on week-days at this time of year, but the home fires were burning for some workers.
It was a lovely, peaceful walk - although rather chilly out of the sun.
