Gone Fishing

I spotted this beauty whilst walking the dog in our nearest park. Look at it's neck - like a swan's, it looks very strong.

I wonder if this fellow is the one snacking on our fish. I ran down the garden once to shoo one away, and in flight, it's wings were nearly as wide as our 10foot trampoline.

Taking 20-odd photos of this heron made me a little late for a delicious lunch with fab friends.

But actually, I wasn't the last to arrive ....
