With the big kids back at school it was time for the small kid and corresponding small friends to head to the local farm park - a big bonus that it was still offering free entry. The animals are incredibly tame, guinea pigs that sit happily on the children's laps, a giant rabbit that snuggles into open arms, goats that seem to smile in anticipation of being petted and a huge turkey that allows you to stroke it when it is not following the two emus around step by step! Put in a hay barn and slides, ride on tractors, pony rides and a climbing wall and you have pretty happy kids. Of course the hot chocolate and cake balanced it all out nicely for all.
