Fever

Poor Ivy really isn't very well at all today. She had a fever of almost 40oC and got the shakes/ spasms in her sleep. She went to sleep on hte sofa- which I don't think she has ever done in her life. Needless to say both Euan and I were very concerned for her. She wouldn't even take calpol (which she normally loves) I'd reached the point of dropping water into her mouth to keep her hydrated, when she suddenly sat up and asked for 'cake'- so we gave her some pancake. Turned out to be better than calpol- didn't bring her temprature down, but did cheer her up enough so she's drink from a cup.  We revoked the 'no cuddling to sleep' rule since she wasn't well and we wanted to keep an eye on her. 

There's chicken pox in the village- so that may be what she's coming down with.
