Bachelor Buttons

These weird and wonderful flowers are in full bloom now. The bees and wasps certainly enjoy them, too. Apparently, these go by many names including cornflower. They are a national flower of Germany, were a favourite of JFK, and were found in King Tut's tomb. Read up at wiki.
