Looking east

Our boss took us out to thank us for the work for year end, which was good. In fact, for my team the real fun starts after year end, i.e., now... But it would be rude to turn down a free lunch...

This is the view from the Duck and Waffle (yep, stupid name) on the 40th floor of one of the new towers on Bishopsgate. The view is great, particularly once it gets dark. Probably best to get somebody else to pay, though - it's pricey.

In this shot the reflection of the ceiling makes it look as though the Vogons have landed.

Out to a gig afterwards with Houblon. Tomorrow will be hard work...
