The Big Moment
Almost 25 years ago, on February 25, 1990, Arvin and I got married. We had been living together almost twelve years at the time but knew it was time to formalize our union. The wedding took place in my parents' home. Dad had had a stroke and was not able to travel anywhere so we took the event to him. We had a great time. My brother's wife's father officiated. And Tudor Rose, the nine voice choir I sang in, performed. We had a short reception with family and close friends and then all except my dad headed to a Thai restaurant for dinner. Some of my aunts had never had Thai food and they loved it.
Here is what we look like today.
In the photo are:
In the back with fingers up is my son Jason. In the back row in front of him are David, Lynda's husband, Lynda and Helena, Arvin's daughters, Arvin, me, my brother Steve and his wife Susan. In front are my father and mother. My brother Dave and his family had left early to catch a flight home.
