Dune Grasses

These grasses on Sumner Beach are a new phenomenon since the Canterbury 2011/12 quakes. The sea floor rose, changing the landscape, and even creating some new little beaches. I'm enjoying these new grasses and think they're adding interest to the beach here. I wonder what others think.
