More bees in bonnets.
When you think about it, bees bonnets must be very tiny.
Anyway, SHE and HE and Ollie all went into the garden this afternoon to cut up logs.
SHE wants a bee hotel! I know - it's a weird idea. Why can't bees find their own accommodation, I ask you. She's got a thing about native bees, and because she likes to photograph them ( I know - she should be photographing me, but there you go), she wants more of them, and the only way to get more is to have a bee hotel.
So - the idea is that we cut a big branch of the Manchurian Pear (which needed to be cut off anyway) and cut it into pieces, and drill holes in the pieces and make a hotel.
She's pretty cluey - there was a nice cabinet put out for the rubbish up the street, and it had deep drawers, so she pinched a drawer for her frame work.
No doubt she'll be blipping it when it's a bit further forward.
Aaanyway, the upshot of all this palaver is that I pinched a bit of log and tried to chew it. SHE didn't seem to mind.
And you can see the holes that have already been drilled into it.
