Blowing in the Wind

This dandelion seed head wouldn't stay still.  There was too much wind.  And when I did finally manage to capture it unmoving it blew out - too 'white'.

I solved that by picking it and holding it against the brake light on the car.  Created a nice bright blip, a bit christmassy I thought.

I drove down to Hanmer tonight - staying at a dog friendly chalet.  Got here at 8 and the pools close at nine, so it was a rush to dump our bags and take off back into town for a quick soak.  Off to Christchurch tomorrow (after another swim) to visit my Mum who is in hospital there.  And my lovely grandson of course!
