Self portrait at sunset

A bit of an odd day on the locum, without much to do. That meant I was able to get away early for the review I was doing with a colleague. Three hours of that, and I was back to the apartment shortly before sunset.

When the sun was at its most blinding just above the horizon, I remembered an earlier attempt at this shot. Tried it again, and like it better than the direct sunset shots tonight. 

After dinner we drove north to the beach house for a long weekend; tomorrow being Waitangi Day is our national day, and therefore a public holiday. Posting this late. But still before midnight.
