Winter trekking

We got the cable car up to the bottom of the ski slope, which now in May is out of ski-season. So we decided to walk up from to the first station, which looked a fairly reasonable climb. After a half and hour, we hit the snow line, and by the end we were climbing through deep snow and falling into drifts up to our waist. 'Everestic' just about sums it up...
