Nuthatch
It's been a quiet and overcast day so not very inspiring blip wise. First thing we drove to the hospital for my knee x ray, thank you for all the good wishes yesterday, results in two weeks. From there we went to Harlow Carr to spend our Christmas gardening vouchers (thank you Margaret and Alan!) then of course it had to be lunch at Betty's. Their soups are always yummy so I had the curried parsnip and Tony had a chicken BLT, followed by a fat rascal and praline & chocolate eclair, mmm. We spotted several red kites on the journey but none close enough to blip, so it is the nuthatch in the elder tree filling up on nuts before nightfall.
