Lower slopes of Blencathra

I went to Rheged today for a Social Media workshop.  More snow in the north of the country than the south and at a lower altitude.   I wanted to return home via Kirkstone Pass but two separate signs telling me it was closed encouraged me to detour by Aira Force up to Troutbeck and then home via Thirlmere and Dunmail Raise.

A lovely drive on a beautiful day.  I am so lucky to live here.
