The Mouth of the River

As it was a beautiful crisp winters day today, I decided to head down to the river at Cramond and enjoy a walk along by the riverside. 

There were a few folk enjoying the winter sun but there was still a sense of peace and calm. 

I managed to get a few shots of the boats moored up and also a few shots of the waterfall which one was going to be my blip...but the scene I captured at the mouth of the river summed up the day.

The sea birds enjoying the Beautiful winter sun - a stillness at the mouth of the river and the hills in the background with a dusting of snow!!
