The Red Lichtie

Sailing in the Silver Sea

Managed to get down to the beach at low tide today just after the school run. there were a few creel boats offshore going back and forward dropping off the creels (or collecting them - I'm no expert on fishing!) The sun was still very low in the sky giving a lovely golden colour on the horizon. I couldn't believe how warm it was today either. My hat and gloves stayed in my dog-walking bag for a change and by the end of the walk I was beginning to wish I'd put on a thinner fleece

The boat isn't as close to the shore as it looks in this photo, I'd zoomed right in but I was impressed at how clear the lighthouse looked on the horizon
