on the Leeds Liverpool Canal.  You can clearly see the shells of the sea creatures embedded in the block of sandstone used in the construction of the bridge.  Beneath the iron stake which the ropes from the horses hauling the barges would have passed through you can see the erosion from the friction on the edge of the bridge.  Frozen canal beyond - nearly the weekend : )
